MONEY for life-saving defibrillators will be raised at an event in Otley this weekend.

The event, on Sunday, August 21, in Otley Market Square, will feature live music with Prince Henry's Grammar School bands Hierarchy and Blyss, local band The Names and The Yorkshire Volunteer Military Band. It will also feature stalls including a tombola and face painting and refreshments.

All proceeds will go towards buying Public Accessed defibrillators. The Otley Defibrillators Campaign run by Peter Jackson has already seen 11 installed around Otley.

Peter said: "I would like to thank all the people who have volunteered their time to ensure this event goes ahead. Lunds of Otley for donating the stage and PA equipment, the bands for their time, Tom Featherstone for the First Aid cover and the Otley Town Team volunteers for their services as marshals."

Donation buckets will be in the market square. Anyone who is unable to attend but who would like to make a donation should ring peter on 07799465070. The event will take place from 10am to 6pm.
