The Barclays Premier League and Women’s Super Trophies came to The Clarke Foley Community Centre in Ilkley on Friday.

It was part of a promotional event announcing the 12-month extension of Barclays’ weekly drop-in sessions, which take place at the centre in Cunliffe Road, Ilkley every Thursday and Friday 9am – 4.30pm. The sessions can help with anything from money management, to improving your home or supporting your business. They also provide useful support for using their mobile banking app.

An estimated 1,000 viewed the famous trophies, free of charge. The Centre also managed to raise £1,100 with a raffle on the day which was supported with prizes donated by local businesses and organisations.

He added: “With so many banks closing in Ilkley, it’s great to support the continuation of this valuable, face-to-face service for another year. Events like this also help to raise awareness of the Community Centre and everything we do, so we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to host these famous trophies.”
