BECKY Kendell scored seven times as Guiseley Vixens overpowered West Riding League side AFC Gledhow 15-1 in the Women’s County Cup.

The Vixens scored four times in the first ten minutes and were 9-0 up by the half-time interval.

Guiseley continued to score goals in the second half and 10 minutes before the end AFC Gledhow scored the goal that their efforts deserved.

Kendell was joined on the scoresheet by Tanya Rich (2), Aimi Beresford (2) and Michelle Walsh and Jodie Whitford-Stark

Notable achievements for Guiseley in this game included striker Becky Kendell scoring 7 goals, Jodie Whitford-Stark scoring her first goal for Guiseley and half-time substitute scoring twice on her first team debut. There were also first team debuts for Nicola Frankland & Jess Gittings.

On Sunday the Vixens entertain Chorley looking to avenge a defeat in the away fixture earlier this season (2pm).
