IN A bid to alleviate the increased costs of staging matches and the larger budget needed in the Vanarama National League next season, Guiseley have announced their season-ticket prices.

The early-bird offer for league matches (paid for by June 30), which includes a guaranteed match-day programme (£45) and all Academy fixtures, is £300 for an adult, £220 for concessions and £130 for 12-16 year olds, compared to £235, £155 and £110 last season.

If payment is made after June 30, the prices rise to £330 for an adult, £240 for concessions and £140 for 12-16 year-olds compared to £250, £165 and £115 last season.

With match-day admission being £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for juniors aged 12-16, this equates to free adult admission to seven games at the early bird prices or five at the standard rate.

Season tickets also offer free admission to three home pre-season friendlies, and there is also the opportunity to reserve a seat for the season at no extra charge.

Match-day prices for pre-season friendlies are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions while accompanied under-12s, as per league matches, are allowed in free.

Guiseley state: "The club would like to recognise and reward, as much as possible, those supporters who saw us through the years leading up to promotion.

"With this in mind, the new on-the-gate admission prices bring Guiseley in line with other clubs in the Vanarama National League."

There was plenty of silverware on display at Guiseley’s end-of-season dinner at Otley Golf Club, including the play-off trophy.

The Lions’ first-team management team gave their player of the season award – the Eric Waite Memorial Trophy – to striker Adam Boyes, while Jake Lawlor added the players’ player of the season accolade to the supporters’ award he received last month.

The sponsors’ player of the season was Oli Johnson, with the fair play award (Michael Schofield Trophy) going to Ryan Toulson.
