AFTER finishing fifth in her heat of the women's 200 metres freestyle last week, Georgia Coates was on relay duty at the 2016 Rio Olympics as she helped her team reach a final.
The 17-year-old Prince Henry's Grammar School pupil took part in a heat of the women's 4x200m freestyle and, two days later, a heat of the women's 4x100m medley.
She helped Great Britain finish fourth in the longer freestyle relay heat in 7min 54.17sec, behind the United States, China and Hungary, while in the 4x100, GB came fifth in Heat Two in 3min 59.34sec, trailing the United States, Australia, China and Italy.
However, the time was quick enough to get them into the final, where Great Britain finished seventh in 3:56.96.
Georgia then stayed behind in Rio to cheer on her Great Britain team-mates.
